Dr. Azam Jan is a distinguished Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon with over two decades of extensive training and experience. He currently serves as the Head of the Cardiothoracic Surgery Department at Rehman Medical Institute (RMI) in Peshawar, Pakistan.

Dr. Azam Jan has undergone specialized training in critical care management of cardiothoracic surgical patients. He practiced cardiac surgery at the prestigious Houston Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center under the mentorship of the renowned Dr. H. Safi, focusing on Aortic Surgery. Additionally, he received thoracic training at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and The Methodist Hospitals.
